How do I add the Facebook App to my company's page?

The following steps will need to be completed by the Administrator of the Company's Facebook Page.

  • Sign in with your personal Facebook account. 
      • Important Note: Make sure that you are signing in under a personal account, not the business account, otherwise a permissions server error will occur. You can tell if this is a personal account because it will say Welcome “client name” at the top left.
  • You will then be prompted to Add the PeopleMatter Facebook App to your Facebook Page

  • Enter the Job Application Link:
      • Your Business Alias can be located in General Settings in the Alias field.  For example, a company with a Business Alias called "dessertbar" would have a URL that appears as
      • Do NOT copy and paste the application URL from your browser as this will not function appropriately. ( alias)/jobapp/GetStarted)  
  • Enter the License Key:  This number is unique to your organization and will be provided by a PeopleMatter Representative.  If you do not have the number, contact  
  • Select the Facebook Page: Select the appropriate Facebook Page to add the App. 
  • Click Add Page Tab.
  • The Facebook App is now live. 
  • As the Administrator, you will have complete access to the Branding Area where you can add a header, footer, videos, pictures, icons, and other items.
