How do I send logs to PeopleMatter Support from my Android device?

If you are an Android user and contact the PeopleMatter Support Team due to an issue with the PeopleMatter Mobile App, you may be asked to send logs to help troubleshoot the problem.

To send logs when you are signed into the PeopleMatter Mobile App:

  1. If you are already signed into the Mobile App, open the Navigation Menu and choose 'About.'
  2. On the pop-up, select 'Use the diagnostics tool.'
      • Check the box "Track diagnostics." Choose your email application. Click "Done."
      • If you are experiencing a particular issue (error, incorrect date, etc.), please reproduce the issue in question. Follow the above steps again, but this time click "Send Logs" instead of "Done."
  3. An email to ‘droid.logs@peoplematter.com’ is generated. You do not need to change anything.  PLEASE include in the body of the message some details about the issue you are having and what you were trying to do when it happened.
  4. Send the email.  

You can also send logs if you experienced an issue and are no longer signed in to the app.  

To send logs when you are not signed in to the PeopleMatter Mobile App:

  1. Go to the PeopleMatter Mobile App sign in screen.
  2. Tap the 'Android Menu' in the upper right side of the screen (usually below the time icon).
  3. Click About. 
  4. On the pop-up, select 'Use the diagnostics tool.'
  5. Check the box "Track diagnostics." Choose your email application. Click "Done."
  6. From here, the instructions are the same as above.
