When requesting a background check for a candidate, the consent forms are already filled out as part of the application process. These consent forms can be seen in the
"Documents" tab on the candidate file.
However, there are instances where the the background check will automatically send a request form to a candidate, even if they already consented during the application.
Adding a Position or Location to a Candidate Record restarts the consent process in PeopleMatter. This is in compliance with background check consent standards provided by our legal team. This also occurs if a position or location is removed.
