This guide will walk you through the process of uninstall and reinstalling MICROS.
Step 1: Uninstall service from machine
Step 2: Let PM support know service has been uninstalled. Note: Please be clear which location has been uninstalled. Enabling the re-install on the wrong location can have negative consequences. PM support will then enable the re-install and follow up.
Step 3: Follow attachment or instruction below to reinstall
Visit:
https://posproxy.peoplematter.com:8443/BackdoorPOS/Controller
username: software@peoplematter.com
password: MICROS (all caps)
When you get to this screen:
Business Alias: copy/paste from URL (all lower case, one word)
Unit Number: copy/paste from Settings
- Note: If there is a space in the unit number you will need to enter with quotes
- Example: "Store One"
- If there are no spaces please do not use quotes and enter as displayed
After installation is complete, make sure you start the service.
