FAQ: How does the background check handle age information with Sterling?

As part of the Background Check Consent Process, the candidate/employee is asked a question regarding their age.  The candidate/employee will need to indicate if they are a minor or not. 

This question is NOT set up by PeopleMatter but by the background check company. There is no way to edit or cancel the question from appearing. What PeopleMatter can do to help rectify the issue is add date of birth on the candidate/employee profile, if needed.


If the candidate/employee indicated they are a minor, you will see the following:
