Occasionally, a Manager or Administrator may need to renew an applicant or employee's consent to a Sterling background check.
To renew consent:
- Open the Candidate or Employee's Record.
- Click on the Background Checks tab.
- Click Options.
- Click Renew Consent.
- A Request Additional Information Email message template will appear. Click Send.
- The Candidate or Employee will then need to click on the link in the email or log into their own PeopleMatter account in order to respond to the consent request. Once their response is submitted, the consent will be renewed.
